Rajesh has worked for more than 20 years in the areas of financial advisory and strategy consulting. Having successfully led and managed client relationships and delivered complex assignments in financial advisory viz. feasibility assessment, due diligence, credit assessments, valuation, corporate restructuring and M&A advisory, he also has significant experience in the area of strategy formulation covering market entry, diversification, and competitiveness assessment.
He has worked on several assignments related to determining the competitiveness of India vis-à-vis competing countries in industries like automotive, auto components, textiles, plastics, leather etc. He was closely involved in significant policy initiatives such as the Automotive Mission Plan (2016-2026) of the Government of India and some marquee initiatives like Baseline Survey of Technical Textiles for the Office of Textile Commissioner, Government of India.
Rajesh has a very good understanding of business dynamics across multiple industries/ domains including automotive, engineering, consumer goods, textiles & clothing, hotels and others. He has also been a speaker in several seminars and has contributed to many knowledge partnerships with industry bodies for their conferences.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mysore, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from TAPMI, Manipal and Masters in Business Law from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He is a Registered Valuer for Securities and Financial Assets and also an Insolvency Professional, registered with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
His other interests are Vedic philosophy and Indian Classical Music.

Sriram has over 25 years of experience in Strategy Consulting and Risk Advisory and is based in our Chennai office. He has assisted clients across the globe in areas of Policy advisory, Market entry strategy, Basel II and Basel III norms for Banks, Risk Assessment and Management, Corporate Restructuring, Mergers and Joint-ventures and structuring Public-Private Partnerships.
He has worked closely with CXOs in the Manufacturing, Banking & Financials Services and Technology industries. His recent engagements include assisting one of Africa’s largest regional banks in implementing a robust credit risk management system and helping some of India’s best known Non-banking Finance Companies (NBFCs) transition seamlessly into IFRS 9 requirements for credit provisioning. He is a key contributor to the valuation methodology adopted for valuing illiquid fixed income bonds.
Sriram was closely involved in significant policy initiatives such as the Automotive Mission plan (2016-2026) of the Government of India and the Tamil Nadu Vision 2023. He has also assisted a number of industry bodies on manufacturing competitiveness and devised strategies to improve the same.
Sriram is widely recognized as a thought leader. He has contributed articles on Risk Management in leading newspapers and periodicals. He has also been invited to speak at leading conferences and forums on Corporate strategy and Risk Management. He was a member of the committee on restructuring weak banks (Verma Committee). He serves as the Chairman of the Banking and Finance Committee of the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Graduate Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a Licentiate Member of the Institute of company Secretaries of India.
He is a keen follower of current affairs and a sports enthusiast.
